We always enjoyed visiting the Lancaster area and always ate at Dienner's restaurant. Looks like you were traveling through Intercourse too. We purchased hand made brooms and several quilts over the years as well.

You actually stayed the first night in the Boston mountains. Ozark mountains aren't really mountains, it's a plateau that has been eroded away.

I’ve too rode the Dragon and the Cherohala trail and prefer the Cherohala trail as well for the great vistas and the elevation changes. Both are great rides. It’s a shame you didn’t ride up to Maggie Valley to see the Wheels through time motorcycle museum. The ride was excellent along with the museum .I was fortunate enough t to meet Dale the owner before his passing.

After the civil war, the re-constructionalist took over in LR & the 'redlegs'; a band of bloodthirsty scoundrels from Kansas, were enlisted to help the great yankee father, in DC, to "stamp out" any remaining Rebel Strongholds in Arkansas. The politicians from kansas wanted to annex the western part if not all of the state. A great debate, by the Kansas red-legs took place in the Arkansas Senate; after a lengthy 'tug-of-war a compromise was met. The spelling would be ar-kansas (for the kansas folks) but the pronunciation would STAY, "ARKANSAW" FACT JACK

How can you not mention the most important thing? Federal reserve? Titanic went down with some wealthy people on board who didnt want america becoming a corporation indebted to a privately owned federal reserve. Its not federal lol. More on the titanic is the boat on the bottom of the ocean floor only letters on it to spell Olympic. Which was Titanics sister ship. Ships were switched out to cash in on a insurance policy. Olympic was damaged and was sent out as the titanic. Alot of friends of the rothchilds didnt board that ship. Unlike the astor family. Also read the book the titan. Pre titanic book about a unsinkable ship that well sinks. Its alot and sorry for the ramble but its a real can of worms lol

I have been to this area of Pa. probably 50 times. It is one of my favorite places to visit. Calm and laid lack makes it great plus a lot of good food. Love the cities on Rt. 30, but not the traffic. It is an antique lover’s mecca plus I bought many quilts made there. Love the Green Dragon. I do not say aim ish, I say ah mish. To visitors I would recommend Lititz and ALL back roads.

Don’t put the Amish on a pedestal. They are like all groups and have their share of vices and Amish girls and women face significant sexual abuse. And the victim is always blamed. And if the male perpetrators is married his wife is blamed for not satisfying his needs. Animal abuse. The top group involved in puppy mills are the Amish. And some Amish are good with their horses and some are not. Horses are like machines to the Amish. If a buggy horse is not in use during the winter some are turned out without any shelter and have only straw to eat. Animal control have been called fairly frequently about horses being tied in the sun for hours without food or water.

We live a few miles from the Cranberry Glades. My wife and I used to hike this area a lot. I need to get back into it. The closed road where you turned is an area a lot of hikers and mountain bikers use. There's a lot of camping and fishing along the Cranberry through there. This road comes out back near Richwood, the town your video started in.

Amish communities vary. Some are as wholesome as you have described, but there are other Amish groups where there is incest, rape by fathers, brothers and uncles and other horrible abuses. Some groups are extremely strict and their own rules, the Ordnung, governs everything, whereas others are more Biblical and not so harsh. Amish is pronounced Ah-mish. And it's Lancaster County, not Canty.

Numerous protestant groups immigrated to the new world to avoid being killed in England. They first tried living in Holland. I lived in a small american village called Buckshutem. Our history is forgotten and the people there don't know that the village was named for the mill and dam once built to accommodate the mill. I have tried, but no one believes me when I tell them that a "shutem" was a dam.
